Big Bamboo is the soul of Coligny Plaza's bar scene. Caribbean-influenced vibe, eclectic menu (tacos, burgers, tuna wontons, chicken curry all coexist happily), live music several nights a week, and a generally festive energy that makes it the go-to pre-beach or post-beach hangout for the Forest Beach crowd.

Cold beer on a warm evening with reggae playing and a plate of tacos. That's the pitch, and it delivers every time. The fish tacos are the move. The tuna wontons are a surprisingly excellent appetizer. And the live music nights have a genuine energy that's hard to find elsewhere in Coligny.

Kid-friendly during daytime and dinner hours. Gets more bar-scene-y as the night goes on.
