Distillery Tour

Hilton Head Distillery is the island's first and only craft distillery, and their guided tour is one of the most unique experiences you can have here. You'll walk through the production facility, learn how they make their spirits from scratch — including rum, vodka, and whiskey — and taste the finished products at the end. The whole thing takes about an hour and the guides are genuinely passionate about the craft.

What makes this tour special is that everything is made right here on Hilton Head. The distillery sources local ingredients where possible and uses traditional methods alongside modern equipment. You're not watching a video about how spirits are made — you're standing next to the stills while someone who actually runs them explains the process.

The tasting at the end is the highlight for most guests. You'll sample 5–6 spirits, including some that are only available at the distillery. It's a great rainy-day activity, a fun date night option, and a genuinely interesting thing to do even if you're not a big drinker.
